“The Restoration Project” (golden luster coated ceramics)

Golden coated ceramic pieces were inserted throughout the space in the cracks of the gravestones embedded in the floor of the church, to initiate the dialogue with other golden elements within the space. The work tends to bring attention to the rich history of this space, which was first built as a catholic church, then violently stripped of all the icons and golden decorations to become the protestant place of worship, currently also functioning as an art venue.
